Job Description
Duties:

1. Work with business, project, development, software quality, and customer stakeholders to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to define requirements and automate and/or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities and workflow requirements.

2. Define application design, development, architecture, maintenance, and support requirements through analysis of documentation, business logic and processes, data processing, and information structuring, processes, and software.

3. Provides leadership in the definition, implementation, and continuing evolution of a product or product family.

4. Creates application development requirements documentation utilizing industry standards based requirements methodologies.

5. Performs troubleshooting on existing applications to identify and validate software defects, assess impacts, and recommend solution requirements.

6. Interfaces with customers (internal and external) as required during length of project.

7. Assists and directs other members of the organization with design issues, technical problem solving, training, and planning associated with new product development as well as maintenance and enhancements to existing products.

8. Works closely with Senior Business Stakeholders, Project Managers, Software Development Managers, Lead Systems Analyst, and Lead Developers to ensure program and project requirements are met.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or related field.

2. Four or more years system analysis (SA) or business analysis (BA) experience inside the full software development life cycle including:
--- Experience creating requirements documentation including artifacts such as: use cases, user interactivity diagrams, solution architectures,
change requests, software requirements specifications.

---Leading requirements implementation into software solutions by working with business and project stakeholders, software development and
usability engineers, and software quality analysts.

3. Familiarity with implementing and working within multiple requirement disciplines (RUP, CMMI, Agile, etc.).

4. One to three (1-3) years programming experience in at least two of the following technological disciplines:
--- Web application development
--- Enterprise database development (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
--- Object-oriented programming (Java, .NET)
--- GUI Development (client or Web-based)
--- Markup languages (HTML, SGML, XML). Experience with XML preferred.
--- Information Structuring and Publishing (DTD, FOSI, XSL development)

5. Outstanding technical writing, verbal, and business communication skills.
