The HR Generalist is responsible for Labor & Employee Relations activities and staffing function of this unionized manufacturing plant. The position will:
  • Administer and interpret labor agreements and grievance procedures.
  • Provide support during contract negotiations.
  • Provide advice and counsel and managers and supervisors.
  • Direct the development of staffing strategies.
  • Organize and implement all diversity training programs.
  • And other generalist duties throughout the plant.
Must have a BS/BA in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Business or similar. Five to ten years of manufacturing experience including time in a union environment. Very good knowledge and understanding of current labor laws and compliance issues.
